In my Times Square street interview series where I interviewed many women from all different nationalities, one topic that in second place right behind FASHION was POLITICS. Women definitely take an interest in discussing the authority of power that eventually govern our lives. Check back here soon...I'm working on a great POLITICAL post! In the meantime, enjoy my "Style on Stairs" video post.♥ Gëiá Carter ♥ Now Trending ♥ SUPERWOMEN in Fashion

In my Times Square street interview series where I interviewed many women from all different nationalities, one topic that leaped across borders was definitely FASHION. Women all over the world seem to get together when it comes down to their love of that topic. Check back here soon...I'm currently working on a great FASHION post! On May 10, 2010, less than a year after nominating Justice Sonia Sotomayor, President Obama nominated Elena Kagan to replace Justice John Paul Stevens on the Supreme Court. While President Obama has referred to Kagan as "One of the nation's foremost legal minds," we will refer to her as Supremewoman Kagan in honor of her ability to go above and beyond what is usually suspected of women in the historically male-dominated field of law.ALL FINALISTS PLEASE READ!!!!!!!

"I want more people to go against the grain... to risk something more for others, and not for selfish gain." Shortly after the success from her album, Diary of Alicia Keys, Alicia Keys spoke those words to Charlie Rose. This quote perfectly encapsulates why I believe in IAAS, in Alicia Keys, and also, in myself.Dinner In My Head, Then Bed

Angelina Jolie embodies the best example of a strong, confident and powerful woman in popular culture. I chose her as one of my three Super Women because of her trailblazing persona of not only becoming a dominant figure in humanitarian issues around the world (which earned her a UN gig), but also because she was able to adapt her real life intrepid persona on screen in her films.Glee's not-so-subtle Message on Women Empowerment
